Ashley and Andrew's day started bright & early, with the gals getting their hair done at Hair Expressions by Donna in Albers, IL. After their hair appointments, the ladies left to do their makeup, and I met up with the guys, who were getting ready at Ashley and Andrew's home. Ready with plenty of time to spare, they even got to enjoy a few games of pool before heading over to the church for the ceremony! After their children and ring barer and flower girl Drew and Rose (who was carrying a "Here Comes Mommy!" sign) came down the aisle, Andy saw his bride, and he beamed! One of my favorite captures from the day is him spying her for the first time, and his best man, Jeff, peering over at him with an approving smile. The ceremony, held at Zion-UCC in New Baden, very special, as Ashley's family has attended that church her whole life, and her parents even married there themselves! Following a bubbly exit and family photos inside the church, the wedding party traveled over to Ashley's grandmother's home for photos. It was a sunny day, and surprisingly cool for August, and the weather ended up being perfect for taking traditional and goofy photos. Little Rose had the most fun of everyone, though, crawling through the fabric in Ashley's dress and playing with the tulle that was probably as big as she was! Thanks again, Ashley and Andrew, for having 10,000 Words capture your special day! |
