Chloe and Shane's wedding day couldn't have been more perfect, from the weather to the decorations to the beautiful bride and groom! We started off the day with the girls getting ready at the Clayville Historical Site outside of Springfield, where the ceremony would take place later that day. The site had so many beautiful nooks to get detail photos of all the little elements of the day and provided fantastic backgrounds for portraits.
After Chloe changed into her stunning dress, she shared a first look with her father, and it was clear by how much he smiled how proud he was when he saw his baby girl. After that, she and Shane shared a first look, and their faces lit up with happiness when they saw each other. It was easy to see how perfect they are for each other, as they laughed and smiled in glee! After the first look, we took some portraits of just the two of them and then the wedding party before relaxing for a few minutes and waiting for the ceremony to start,
The ceremony took place in front of the historical Broadwell Inn, which was built in 1824 by Moses and John Broadwell. Chloe and Shane shared vows they had written themselves, exchanged rings, signed the license, and then shared their first kiss as husband and wife before exiting to bubbles. After the ceremony, they greeted every guest by going to their chair to exchange hugs and quick words.
Soon it was time for the reception, which took place at the Secret Recipes Reception Center in Springfield. After the wedding party was announced, Chloe and Shane cut their cake, which was made by Shane's mother, and the party began! Everyone joined the couple on the dance floor and had a great time.
